Catherine has always been one of those creative types, from an early age she would be drawing, painting and making all kinds of creations. Pocket money was spent on art materials, that she would guard fiercely and keep pristine.
She graduated in 1991, with a 2:1 in Design and Illustration, from Manchester Metropolitan University.
After graduating she held posts in Manchester design agencies and later within the greeting card industry, first as a designer and then progressed to seasonal product manager.
Later, she went on to work in a primary school to accommodate family life. At school she found teaching art extremely rewarding, but all the while she continued illustrating and creating beautiful personalised gifts in her free time.
